Our showroom door opened, homeowners entered, and had some questions on siding and windows.

Janet, our office manager, came into my office and asked if I could answer some questions for these homeowners. I walk into the showroom and introduced myself. The homeowner dropped his mask and said Paul, I was your neighbor when we grew up on Parkridge Drive in Mason City, Iowa. Well, it has been over 40 years since I have seen Mike and we had a great conversation.

I answered their questions and scheduled an appointment for our Senior Design Rep, Troy Deaton to stop out and measure up the project.

We installed the windows and doors last fall and the siding project started the 2^nd week in March. The crew had to battle bad weather, rain, rain, and more rain, high windows and well you know Iowa’s unpredictable weather. The job was completed last week!

Midwest Construction removed the builders grade vinyl siding and let the original house wrap on. Midwest Constructions crew ran another layer of house wrap, installed window and door tape around all of the openings to prevent any water and or air infiltration. All windows and doors, soffit and fascia trimmed out and American Classic Insulated D-6 Mocha and Shake Siding on the top half of the front of the home.
