American Classic Insulated Vinyl Siding Project Completed for Marshalltown, Iowa Homeowners.
Troy Deaton, Senior Design Consultant with Midwest Construction Since 1991 met with these homeowners to give them a cost for new siding.
The home was built in 1960’s and needed new siding. The original Masonite siding had seen better days. The homeowners did the required maintenance and painted every 3-5 years but the siding wouldn’t hold paint and was deteriorating.
The homeowners did a search for siding contractors in the area and Midwest Construction came up on the search. They also recognized Midwest Construction from our testimonial TV commercials, and have heard WHO-Am Radio Van and Bonnie speak on behalf of Midwest Construction.
Troy measured all of the exterior walls for materials and inspected all of the exterior walls of the home for any potential problem areas. Some problems that arise are after the old siding is removed, we may find some soft or rotten sheeting, wet insulation and or rotten 2 x 4’s. Those need to be replaced before the siding can be installed.
Troy answered all of their questions on the materials, insulation and siding to be used on the project, went over the installation procedures and presented them an exact cost for the project. Troy also explained how our crews would fix and of those hidden repairs, and shared our cost per hour and the cost of materials with no mark up!
These homeowners had already received 2 other estimates and made the decision to go with Midwest Construction.
