In April of 1958, Alex Despenas opened the doors to Midwest Construction & Supply Inc.

61 years later with the same phone number Midwest Construction Celebrates its 61st Anniversary!

Since 1994 Midwest Construction has been holding their Anniversary & Spring Open House, hosted by 1040 WHO – AM Morning Radio Host Van Hardin and Bonnie Lucas to broadcast live from our showroom located at 2021-SE 44th Court, Grimes, Iowa. The showroom/warehouse are located just off of 35/80 and HWY 141. Go  east on SE 37th Street (turn east at the Quick Trip), then right or south on SE Capital Circle  to SE 44th Court, then left and we are the 3rd building on the right.

The Open House/Anniversary at both our locations gives homeowners an opportunity to stop in and check out our facilities. This also give homeowners an opportunity to  see full size window and siding displays and walk into our sunrooms, that are part of our building to get that real life sunroom experience.

It’s like old home week! We get the opportunity to meet with new prospective customers along with many of our previous customers stopping to say hello to Van and Bonnie, sharing their Midwest Construction experiences and having some refreshments.
