Midwest Construction of Grimes, Iowa installed Great Lakes Custom Built Replacement Windows and added the finishing touches to this beautiful old home.

Troy Deaton, met with this homeowner to discuss replacement windows. After listening to what the client was wanting to achieve, Troy went right to work and came up with a couple of options. This home has multiple colors and the exterior sills and casings have been maintained. Midwest Construction capped the exterior stops with the same color coil as the window to give this home the finishing touches.

With the recent update of new windows, these homeowners will immediately notice the reduction of the outside noise on the busy street. Next, the house will stay cooloer in the summer and warmer in the winter with the energy efficient glass packs that are offered from Great Lakes windows. This fall, before the winter sets in, they can tilt the windows in from the inside for safe and easy cleaning and then next spring the same thing, tilt in, safe and easy!

Standard installation practices: When installing our replacement windows, we fully insulate around the old jamb and new window with fiberglass insulation and seal your openings with sealants to prevent any water or air infiltration.

When the job is finished, our crews hauled away all of the old windows and construction debris.
