Project Description
Midwest Construction did work on this Thompson, Iowa farm home in the late 1990's The homeowner wanted an 8 foot Patio Door installed and was concerned about the siding that needed to be removed, and the plaster on the inside. Midwest Construction competent crews dug right in. The exterior and interior wall were laid out, precision cuts made on the exterior and interior to open the wall. Some new framing, including a new header. Once the framing was finished, the crew set the new patio door into the opening. The new door was plumbed and leveled and secured into the framing members. The new patio door opening was flashed on all four sides, insulated with, Boss Extreme Weather Foam to prevent any water or air infiltration. New interior casings installed, all construction debris cleaned up and haled away. Check out the view through the new patio door.
