After removing the original Masonite siding from the home the installer discovered some soft and rotten sheeting. The crew took immediate action by removing the soft and or rotten sheeting, inspecting the insulation and 2x4's and determining they were sound, then installed new plywood.

The next step was to cover all of the outer walls of the home with a Progressive Foam Product called 3/8 Pro-Fold. Pro-Fold provides a flat smooth surface to install your new siding. It also provides a 1.7 R-Value and great water permeability.

American Classic D-4 Insulated Vinyl siding was installed to the home which carries a R 3.4 Value to add to the exterior walls insulation. All window and door openings were covered with custom bent aluminum PVC coil stock. With the addition of both Progressive Foam Products this home gained an additional 5.1 R-Value to the exterior walls. That will save these homeowners energy = money!

To accent the home, Midwest Construction installed Exteria Premium Stacked Stone Building Products, resulting in lifelike textures that look and feel real.
