Family |

 Tony
Despenas is the oldest son of Alex Despenas; He
literally grew up in the industry. As a young man,
Tony worked on siding and window crews, first as
a helper, then a crew leader. After a military obligation
in the Navy and Vietnam, Tony came home and ran
the family restaurant business with mother Ethel.
Even while running a restaurant, Tony would run
appointments with his Dad and spent many evenings
with Alex in the home honing his selling skills
while watching a master salesman at work. Since
that time Tony has trained many successful salesman.
Today, he works with our 10 sales reps daily, handles
all sales meetings and helps Kalli with important
company decisions. Tony lives in Milo, Iowa with
his wife Judy. He has 2 grown daughters Angie and
Tiffany, both from Minnesota along with Judy's 2
children Chris and Kim, they share six beautiful
grandchildren.

 Kalli
Eaton has been with the company since 1986. She
is the oldest daughter of the founder Alex Despenas.
Alex tutored Kalli for years about what it takes
to stay in business in today's world. She is the
family caretaker and understands the "balance"
of being in a competitive industry as well as being
in a "family business". She is very organized
and fair, and she is definitely the right person
for the job. As MWC grew, Kalli has been able to
manage the growth of the business and still raise
a family. She lives in Nora Springs with her husband
Mark Eaton of 39 years and has two grown children
and three grandchildren.

 Maria
O'Handley is the middle daughter of the founder
Alex Despenas. She has been involved with the company
in many different capacities. Her main responsibility
is bookkeeping and billing between our 2 offices
and 3 departments. She lives in Waterloo with her
husband P.K. O'Handley, coach of the Waterloo Blackhawks
hockey team. Her 2 sons Josh and Zane are working
with the company. Maria has 1 grandchild.

 Paul
Despenas is the middle son of the founder Alex Despenas.
Paul "grew up" in the home improvement
industry and has become the marketing manager for
the company. He has a great understanding of what
it takes to be successful in today's market. He
is responsible for booking, setting up, scheduling
over 60 events a year for the company. His other
duties are to coordinate TV, Radio and Newspaper
advertising and managing the company website and
banner ads. He has virtually worked in every phase
of the business and has been responsible for many
of the company awards and achievements in the Home
Improvement Industry. Paul lives in Johnston with
his 2 daughters Alexa and Alaina.

 Brent
Jandebeur started working for MWC shortly after
graduating from business school in 1985. He is our
designated "inside man". He handles payroll,
window installation and ordering. He has become
a very integral part of MWC and has played a
big part in the growth of the company. He lives
in Clear Lake with his wife Amy and their children
Chris, Troy, and Emily.

 Mark
Eaton, son in law of founder. He is married to Kalliope.
Mark grew up in the home improvement business in
Waterloo and met Kalliope when he attended college
in Mason City. Mark and Kalliope started working
for Alex in 1986 when Midwest became the OMNI Window
dealer for the state of Iowa. In 1990 Mark started
working with a sunroom manufacturer and soon Midwest
added another important part of its product line
with the sunroom division. Mark and Kalliope live
in Nora Springs and have 2 grown children Jason
and wife Julie, Cassie and husband David Turk. 3
grandchildren, Sydney, Courtney and Tyler.

 Josh
Kantaris, grandson of the founder, Alex Despenas.
Josh has been with the company since he left the
Marine Corps. Josh has grown up in the industry
and has worked in the field on all different types
of work Midwest Construction offers. Today, he is
in charge of inventory and siding installation.
As he grows into the business, he will be an important
part of the growth of the company of the for years
to come.

Zane, grandson of the
founder and Andy have been installing gutters since
2005. In addition to installation, they are responsible
for ordering materials and all of their own scheduling
of installations throughout our marketing area in
Iowa and Minnesota. Andy had worked previously in
the gutter industry and brought good knowledge of
the equipment and installation to MWC. We feel that
both of these fine young men have a bright future
with our company. Zane lives in Mason City with
his wife Angela and son Kellen. Andy lives in Mason
City with his wife Kelly and 2 daughters Adyson
and Brogan.

Field
Service Manager |
 Brent
Wood is our field service rep. His main responsibility
is to measure all new window installs and material
lists, so when the crews show up to do your install
the products and the materials are ordered for a
fast and clean installation. Brent is also responsible
for the service of all of the products we sell and
install. Brent is a great company service rep and
has a very promising career. He lives in Hampton,
Iowa with his wife Liz.

 Bobby
Baker started with MWC in high school working in
the warehouse and helping set up home shows and
fairs. After working for MWC part time, he graduated
and came to work full time. His main responsibilities
include scheduling, setting up and tearing down
our shows and events in Mason City and Des Moines.
In addition he has become a valuable asset working
at the shows and within our marketing department.
He lives in Mason City with his wife Echo and children
Shyanne, Dakota, Kiera and Koltyn.

Barb and Sandy have
been with MWC for many years. Their main duties
are to set and schedule appointments for our representative's
daily schedules. They coordinate times, dates and
directions and communicate that to the sales manager
and reps daily. Sandy lives in Mason City, and has 2 grown children Scott and Kristy and 5 grandchildren. Barb and her husband Gary also
live in Mason City. They have a grown daughter, Kyla and husband Shane Servantez.

Erica Simmer has been working at Midwest Construction for two years. Kyla Servantez has been working at MWC since high school. Their main responsibilities include Database Management, answering incoming calls, services, and warranties. Kyla has also taken on the responsibility as the Marketing Coordinator. Erica lives in Mason City with her son, Aiden. Kyla lives in Mason City with her husband Shane. They are expecting their first child in November.

Grimes Office Manager |
 Janet
Fields main duties in the Grimes operation is to
run the office and the paperwork associated with
the daily operation, including Data base management
and receptionist. Janet lives in Grimes and has
3 children: Christopher, Brandi and Phillip, and
4 grandchildren: Joshua, Gavin, Cody and Ashlynn.
